Wishing Well

A Wish by the Government of Ontario

If you are a person with a disability or care about someone with a disability, then your important feedback is needed now! It can have an impact on your future life of accessibility in Ontario! The Government actually wants to hear from us!

So please take some time to read and to respond to this linked questionnaire before the holiday season gets too busy. It could be a great present to yourself!

The link below connects to a document in development for the AODA. (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act ) Specifically it outlines a document focusing on Customer Service Standards and how these should / can include accessibility features. A committee developed the document this Fall and the government wants the public to give their feedback about the document before it makes its final decision on what to include in the Customer Service Standard of the AODA.

So I am asking you to click on the link, read the document and respond on the included forms, then email it back to the government.  People with disabilities need to respond and tell how they think about the proposed Customer Service Standard, or the business community will have the greatest influence over our lives!

The deadline to respond is December 20th. Please also circulate this to your friends and contacts in the disability community.

Click on the link, (or Paste it into your browser) then within the middle of the wedpage, click on Public Review Form.: To view the document, please click on the following http://www.mcss.gov.on.ca/mcss/english/pillars/accessibilityOntario/spotlight/customer/index.htm

The above document is found within the Ministry of Community and Social Services website
