Having fun at the International
Plough-Match. I attended these annual shows in support of our
distributor: Praxair. |


Each year we would attend the The
Plough-Match with our national distributor Praxair. This venue
targeted the agricultural population.
As an outdoor show, despite what one might think,
even the year of the "Mud-Bath"
show was profitable.
These events were attended by the agricultural population, both
commercial and public. With the public it was fun to participate
in and promote the community spirit often associated with major
international corporate giants such as Praxair. One promotion I
developed at this yearly event was to give away apparel with a message
that reinforced positive thinking: they had to give me a good
reason why they should receive a free item (and of course everyone was a
winner). Laughter, joy and sharing product knowledge were the
themes of these presentations.
