Demonstrations of Publicity, Public Relations, and Advertising 

 

 

 

Being the company's field representative it was a part of my marketing vision to capitalize on free publicity and public relations. Initiatives included:

  • Generated national exposure with our new Dexterity glove while promoting our partnership with one of Canada's leading electrical distributors in their customer newsletter (cost-savings article link)

  • Selected national product lines and creating a four page layout for the Unisource Canada catalogue: created with their graphics supplier

  • Communicated new product launches to the industrial safety market: One (large) page write-up complete with colour photo promoting the benefits of our domestically-made Cool-Grip high heat glove in the Canadian Occupational Safety Magazine

  • Created and distributed posters (Corel Draw) to promote recycling and reconditioning of gloves

  • Participated, with an unlimited supply of gloves of course, in an Earth Day Community Clean-up in the Oakville, Ontario area

  • In my sales and marketing endeavours, I am continually keeping my eyes open to take advantage of cost-effective means of communicating the quality and availability of our product offerings.
