Being the company's field representative it
was a part of my marketing vision to capitalize on free
publicity and public relations. Initiatives
included:
Generated national
exposure with our new Dexterity glove while promoting our
partnership with one of Canada's leading electrical
distributors in their customer
newsletter (cost-savings article link)
Selected national
product lines and creating a
four
page layout for the Unisource Canada catalogue: created
with their graphics supplier
Communicated new
product launches to the industrial safety market: One
(large) page write-up complete with colour photo promoting
the benefits of our domestically-made Cool-Grip high heat
glove in the Canadian Occupational Safety Magazine
Created and
distributed posters
(Corel Draw) to promote recycling and reconditioning of
gloves
Participated, with an
unlimited supply of gloves of course, in an
Earth
Day Community Clean-up in the Oakville, Ontario area
In my sales and marketing endeavours, I am
continually keeping my eyes open to take advantage of

availability of our product
