A CUP OF HEALING ENERGY

I learned this attempt of healing while vacationing at the Sivananda yoga retreat in the Bahamas and have modified it to my Christian Faith. Whichever Faith you are of, I share it with you because it is rooted in Love.  The beauty of this concept is that is that you can adapt it to your energy and life-force.  I will share my version with you and in doing this will express myself fully, in all that is Christian within me: 

My initial thoughts revert to the Biblical Scripture:  Mathew 21 verses 21 and 22 (St. James version) where Jesus expresses to his disciples : "Verily I say unto you, if ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree (withered the fig tree), but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, it shall receive." In my relationship with God and Jesus I know with all my heart that we have to ability to serve in the moving of mountains for the sake of GOoDness and therein sharing the gift of healing with others.

This essay will focus on sharing a technique, which appeals to God and Jesus to shine their healing energy on oneself and or another human or creature. The endeavour is a prayer. The greater the intensity our relationship with God, the greater I believe is our faith to move mountains or in this instance serve as an intermediary of God's (and Jesus') healing forces.  It is my theory that in striving to live a pureness in terms of "do unto others as you would have them do unto yourself" we can accelerate this ability to shine LOVE.  As St. Augustine said "Whatever we do in life we should do it with love." and as a very good friend and spiritual brother says, "we should also do it with smiles." This technique if nothing else should be an expression of love and of smiles.  We have the gift to feel  and develop this.

Thus let us proceed in exploring this method of healing with our smiles alive and beaming energy. Please remember that this is the technique I have evolved into and it is recommended that each person modify it to which ever energy they feel within themselves.

DIRECTIONS:

I place my hands in front of me making a cup with both my hands open to the heavens. In prayer I ask my Lord God, in the name of my Saviour Jesus Christ, to Shine His Loving Pure White Healing Energy Light down into my cup. I visualize this and see the cup filling and overflowing. It is OK to let the cup overflow. I envision the overflow much like the scene in the film Monte Python's Search for the Holy Grail where the goblets they drink from are overflowing. Feeling the Wonderful Healing Energy in the cup, I let the cup overflow and when I sense that the cup is indeed filled to its utmost capacity I am ready to direct this Energy to the recipient.

I may also choose to add a capsule of colour(s). The colour I choose comes straight from the energy of my prayer, as does it's structural form: The capsule may be round or oblong and even square like a sugar cube, in fact it needn't even be symmetrical. There may be one solid colour or just a tinge or there may be a blend of colours.  The  or capsules can be your prescription in prayers.  I may choose to include a capsule if I know that a being is ailing of something specific. I visualize this capsule being placed in the cup and how it bathes in the healing energy with God's Pure White Healing Energy Light Streaming down in it's constant and intense flow.

When I feel that the cup is at it's utmost capacity I stretch out my hands with the palms open towards the recipient:  In my prayer state and meditation I strive to beam the healing energy to my friend. who does not necessarily have to be in the same physical surrounding.  Even if I do not know there location I will give this energy stream to God to Shine His Wonderful Healing Energy Light to them. Then I pray aloud to God that He will bring His miracles to us. I will use phrases such as "Please dear Lord replace all [Name}'s tensions with Your healing smiles" and "Please dear Lord shine Your Healing Energy to [Name]. I keep doing this for as long as I feel the Healing Energy shining out to the being:  you will know how long is how long.

Then gracefully, in reverence, I bring my hands back to create another cup in front of myself and again ask my Dear Lord to fill it full. I can now shine His Healing Energy Light on another. Important to remember, always fill the last cup and bring it lovingly to your heart and pour His Healing Energy into yourself.

Now skeptics might say I am ready for as different kind of retreat yet I believe that it is definitely worth the effort to reach within one's Faith and to indeed strive move the "mountains" that impede our paths and of those dear to us. I do know that this activity has produced great smiles and a sense of healing in recipients.
