Web Design
Upon graduating from Ryerson University in 1993 we had been
educated that Technology was the fifth new element to the Marketing Mix.
Here we are close to 15 years later and the Internet provides marketing
reach available to many for the fraction the the cost of forms of media
(print, television, etc.) associated with the pre-Internet era.
Did you know that for $35 USD/year, and sometimes for less, one can not only secure the
rights to a domain name but also create an internet "e-Billboard" which
can be #1 when your descriptive domain name: word or phrase is requested
in a search string. The beauty of the Internet that everyone has an
equal chance to achieve search engine ranking success.

Content |
| Designing the website for
the human customer is important yet, no offense people,
in this medium I've built my sites for the web spiders,
crawlers, and googlebots. I mention this tangent
in thinking because I find in web development I build
what I strive to communicate is such a manner as to be
very user friendly The fact that communicating with
computers is all about logic means that when one figures
out the logic out you have a very good chance of being
#1 spots for specific search strings on Google and
Yahoo. The better your understanding of
computer-logic, the greater the chances of more #1
results. We hope to provide link soon which will share
our learning experiences as they relate to web site
content. |

Domain Name |
|
| Our
salesdomainnamesales.com website expresses the
importance of selecting descriptive names. The Web
Crawlers will be noting this and assigning it their respective
priorities. Google likes to assign more weight on this
than does Yahoo: for example The
www.mtmsales.com
site is positioned in the #1 spot on Google and #12 on the Yahoo
charts. We see this trend with a lot of our other
websites. While the crawlers are automated their is a
human element supervising the ranking system always sifting for
valuable content. |

The title (60), description (250), and keywords
(300) are the most critical for achieving excellent positioning
(maximum characters including spaces): Very time and
thought consuming yet building this behind the scenes structure
means that just like a marketing plan, if one Tag changes it
would be good to review all others as they are interconnected
and give power to each other and all the other factors being
explored her. I use a (MSWord) document with a column for
each of the Tags and assign two rows for each: the first
contains the text to be copied and pasted and the second records
the "Word Count". Next I copy and the text from the
webpage and build my Keywords by keeping only the key words and
deleting the rest. No spaces are required between the commas
that separate each word or phrase. Once my 300 characters
are complete I build my other Tags making certain the keywords
are used. The file name can also play a role in this. I |

As time permits, I will expand on these thoughts. It
is my hope that in aiding your productivity unselfishly and passionately,
that you will continue this energy flow to the community and to the
children so that we can make this world a better place. |
