| Our "Build it for the Children" focus drives the eco zone in friendlyville.com. The goal is to develop a network of resources that will assist us in the building anew or retrofitting and renovating of our living environments within our community, in the most eco-friendly and non toxic a manner as possible. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| "Build it for the Children" represents our call to arms. In our fundraising efforts we hope to add a unique twist to our philanthropy by not only inviting people to participate in sponsoring related opportunities but also encouraging everyone, everywhere to take up this challenge together: for the web is indeed a global medium and a great forum to generate sponsorships. Our Team welcomes your feedback and it is our hope that you will share your successes to post for the world's perusal. | We are pleased to announce that Variety Village in Toronto, Ontario, Canada has selected Curved Space and Mark Mueller Agencies to furnish the new Sensory (Snoezelen) Room at their amazing Toronto facility It was perfect that the eco zone in friendlyville.com evolved at around the same time of this milestone announcement because our patrons have provided the additional resources to ensure the project will be the most eco-friendly and non-toxic as humanly possible - all things in perspective of course. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The room is a work in progress and will hopefully be finalized soon. As with any project some small revisions are forthcoming. The floor mats, wall paneling and sensory machine placements have been positioned and the customer is pleased. We are hoping to post, once edited and approved, a presentation explaining our efforts to achieve that which we have and will: a case study explaining why we made the decisions we did, our method of sourcing for the right solution, provided for cost effectiveness considerations and of course the specification drawing which took many hours to design, draft and re-draft. I believe we need to sacrifice this transparency for everyone to see how easy it is to "build it for the children" together. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| A note should be added to state while this "transparency" may not be perceived to be the most be the most effective business decision - as in why promote your competitive advantage purposefully for others to emulate, the cost of not doing this is much greater. The toxic enemy is upon us. And when we are given the commandment that "Thou shalt not kill." we have full authority to eradicate this threat.
