CLEANING OF THE URETHANE FABRIC: For water-soluble spills wipe the surface area with a cloth and water. For grease, oil and waxy marks use varsol or gasoline and follow-up with wiping it down with a cloth, soap and water.
ADDING BEADS: As time goes by you should study what level of beads provides you with the greatest comfort. Beads are available for replenishment at $6/cu. ft. Please call ahead to ensure we have them in stock. Make an appointment to visit our factory, bring your chair(s) and we'll fill it up for you on the spot and charge you the amount required.
STATIC CHARGE in bean bags can be built up in electrically heated areas. This may both cause the chair to attract dust or result in bead-pouring problems when emptying the chair for cleaning or adding beads. Simply add ½ - 1 cup of water into the beads and stir with your arm.
CUTS, NICKS & SCRATCHES can be repaired by filling in the damaged area with a rubberized glue called Goop: Household Goop is available at Canadian Tire, Home Depot, and other hardware stores. Waterproof Goop (Plumbing & Marine) is also available and is great for repairing running shoes, fixtures, etc. Simply apply the Goop to the affected area, let dry and rub excess dried Goop away. The chair should be ready for use the next day.
REPAIRS: we can re-stitch seams or replace panels. Please refer to the price list.
TRADE-INS: Should your chair be beyond repair, trade in your old bean bag for a new one and receive a credit of $6/cu. ft. for your old beads as long as they are clean and not insulation-board regrind.
CAUTIONS:
* Moving chairs through doorways and passageways: watch for sharp objects which may rip, puncture and or snag.
* Positioning chairs near (baseboard) heaters may melt the cover.
* Do not position chair close to sharp corners
* Do not sit in chairs with sharp objects in back pockets.
